RK Note: Not that I have screenshots to prove it, but at this point I nutted they were showing how they get back to the island

4:00 - whats hurley doing with a guitar in a waterfall? cb says its charlies guitar!

5:00 - so, i kinda wonder if this is them getting back to the island for the first time.

CB Note: Well, we know that Hawking was in Dharma...and yet she is working with Ben now. A lot has gone down that we don't know about.

11:00 - The Lamp Post!! how they found the island! guess that explains are skepticism in 10:00. frankly, that room reminded me of that story about the pendulum from high school. was it a poe?

16:00 - ooh, also, fyi, we have a special surprise for lb next game nite. im not gonna say any more though. the suspense will torture you all, so you finally come over again!!

17:00 - who built the pendulum? cb and i both guess widmore.

18:00 - so, the island is always moving? is it moving through space and time as well? and the equations will tell where in space it will be at future points in time?

19:00 - oh, good thing they have 36 hours left, apparently.

20:00 - not a very good message! shoulda told desmond more! desmond just confirmed for the slow audience that she was indeed ring woman from 2-3 seasons ago.

21:00 - cb was yelling out "ajira" way in advance. thats the crash our Losties found! well done cb!!
RK Note: So when they flashed to the future that time on the island they WERE about 3 years in the future! And whoever nutted (Caryn I think) that it could be the oceanic 6 chasing the on-island losties shooting after them in the canoe raft things could be correct!!! although perhaps they didnt know it was the on-island losties who stole the raft, or else why would they shoot?

22:00 - why do they need to recreate the circumstances? why dont they just jump out of the plane at the appropriate time? they cant make the plane crash again by coincidence - we were told it happened bc desmond forgot to push the button!!!
RK Note: And seriously, trying to fly on a plane is the ONLY way to get back? Didn't Ben just used to have a good old submarine that went back and forth? And other secret ways of getting back? How is this the only way?

23:00 - mama faraday apparently knows lots of old school island lore, referring to all these potential catastrophes...

24:00 - locke hanged himself! he wrote jack a suicide note?! did ben hint an ep or two ago that john was alive? or i guess we'll just get to have him alive on the island in his old self.

25:00 - here's a good idea mama faraday - john could be on the plane.. AS JOHN!!!
Rk Note: I KNOW right?!?!?!?! I mean, John was on the original Oceanic flight... why does he need to be a proxy for Christian? It completely does not make sense. Unless there is some reason they needed a DEAD body on the plane?

26:00 - a promise to an old friend?! cb just immediately yelled out in a frightened voice... "penny?!?!" - ben told widmore he was gonna kill penny!!! ohnoes! amazing nut by cb if its right!

RK Note: I nutted immediately that she gave Aaron to Claire's mom, although I'm not sure why this is such a big secret that she can't tell Jack about it, and I'm not sure what on earth made her decide to do it. What an awful faux mother! Only potentially worse mom on this show is Sun with her actual biological child.

42:00 - how did sayid get under arrest? what happened? my first reaction, like cb's, was sayid under arrest like kate was. but, um - how? why? going to guam? huh?
RK Note: Perhaps Sayid was arrested for beating the crap out of Ben!! Which Ben probably intentionally orchestrated and went and found Sayid but tipped off the cops that there was going to be an incident there and like provoked Sayid into kicking the shit out of him and then the cops came and arrested Sayid before he could finish the job and kill Ben altogether. But why he needs to be extradited to Guam I'm not sure, but I bet somehow Ben had something to do with it!

43:00 - well, that explains charlie's guitar.

44:00 - oh, brilliant hurley! buying all the seats so when it crashes nobody dies!

45:00 - good questoin jack, how DID hurley know?!?! i got nuttin.
RK Note: Well Ben hired that lawyer to get Hurley arraigned and out of jail in the morning, so he probably got Hurley out of jail without saying that he worked for Ben, and probably told Hurley he worked for Charlie or something that would make Hurley believe him, and gave Hurley the info about the plane and convinced him that he had to get back to the island and this was how and he'd be safe there.

46:00 - and, btw, bummer for the flight crew...

47:00 - cb noticed weird guy is on the plane... and ben too omgeeeeeeeee. did ben tell hurley somehow w/o him knowing it?

58:00 - also, weren't there other people in a raft from the plane that were shooting at our Losties from an ep or 2 ago?
RK Note: We know the plane crashes from when they flashed through time and they had the Ajira water!!! So how did some of the plane crash and some of it flash some Losties into the water?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!

59:00 - based on the white light, it seems that the island just caught them in a time shift??? but then they wouldnt have crashed. also, we know that time shifts only affect our Losties, not other people. they dont even notice! hmmmm.
RK Note: HOW are they gonna explain this?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

60:00 - great bit with letter.

61:00 - cb just grabbed my shirt while i was typing, and started tugging it, and exclaiming... "they flashed.... they flashed!!!!!" i will now show her hte previous 2 blog entries and gloat. then, i predict she will slap me...

62:00 - i got a raisin. instead of slapping me, she gave me attitude. in truth, i was only on it like 15 seconds earlier. and, im concerned that it doesnt make a lot of sense - there cant be crash parts and the people on the plane shouldnt have noticed...

63:00 - JIN?!?!?! and he's wearing a dharma outfit?!?!?! he must have flashed into the past? howd he get separated from the Losties left on the island though?
RK Note: Maybe he's NOT separated from the Losties. Maybe he is at the same time period when we saw Dan Faraday with the Dharma jumpsuit on posing as a Dharma member. Maybe the Losties who are together now with Jin flash through time together, but its a LONG enough time flash that they somehow manage to infiltrate the Dharma initiatve and pose as Dharma members for a little while in the past, and so Jin is just wandering around being all Dharm-y when he finds them. Maybe now he'll reunite them with Sawyer and Faraday and Juliet and stuff who maybe are all ALSO posing as Dharma members. OR then they'll all flash into another time period together until they are able to stop the time flashes. But there must be people from the crash from Ajyra who are NOT flashing through time who were the ones chasing in the raft from a few episodes ago. So Kate and Jack and Hurley are traveling through time in sync with Jin and maybe the other losties with the Flashes, but some Ajira ppl just plain old CRASHED, the flight crew and passengers and maybe Sayid and Ben and Frank etc, and THEY are back at the beach with the rafts and the water on a normal time pace 3 years in the future and were the ones who did the chasing in the canoe?

64:00 - epic next week - the mystery of john locke's death explained!!! and locke-widmore scenes!

TERRIFIC first and last 20minutes or so of this ep. top top notch. woohoo.
CB Note: So, the obvious theory is that they flew over the island, there was a flash and they got transported down to the island at whatever time period it's in. BUT, in scenes from next week, we see that there are non original 815ers on the island now too. So how could that be if only our Losties are supposed to move with the flashes? And if the only other non-Lostie people who do come to the island with them are the weird condolences guy and sayid's cop girl, then that would insinuate that perhaps they are plants or dharma people or sent by Hawking for some reason.

Now, about them back on the island...it would seem that they've returned back in the 70s. Meaning, now that they're back are the flashes going to stop, but they're all stuck at that time? Or since Aaron hasn't returned with them, does it mean that they aren't going to save the island afterall? And why is Jin driving the Dharma VW and wearing the Dharma outfit? Is he really working for them now? And he looked a lot better/cleaner/healed since last we saw him on the island.
