Heroes Cont'd!

The votes are in, and unfortunately, the viewing shall continue. I've never said this before, but boy i wish the internet was down!!

1:00 - what were the votes for who "Rebel" was? that texted claire? i SOOOOOOOhope its West. that would be the funniest by far...

2:00 - and now Rebel is texting claire to help him. this plotline is so ridiculous!

3:00-Cb throws out that she thinks its Hiro. thats a good guess i think. cb notes the broken english texting. i think that secret vague texts are the kind of thing that hiro would do.

4:00 - not only has he been telling you that since you were 15 claire, he's been telling us for 4 seasons. and im booooooooooooooooored.

5:00 - claire is starting community college? and shes taking all of 3 classes? what is this, my 2nd semester senior year? is she mm 3L spring? also, did i miss the ep where she GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL!!
CB Note: She took the GED, it was mentioned at the beginning of the season.

6:00 - this Rebel sure is a stalker!!

7:00 - great idea, double the funding from the white house!

8:00 - yea lets get pie and milkshakes!!!! awesome idea sylar junior!
CB Note: Mmmm pie.

9:00 - if i were sylar, id just torture that little kid.

10:00 - oh man, he got caught on this awesome London-esque video recognition camera under a bridge IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!!! if there is a camera at that rinkydink bridge, then there would be cameras EVERYWHERE and theyd ALREADY KNOW where EVERY ONE of the heroes is.
LB Note: Now you're just being very ungenerous. The show is after all about people with super powers. I think we can suspend disbelief to think that there's a traffic cam at random bridge.

11:00 - claire is putting in an Oscar winning performance right now at the comic bookstore. in an ironic twist, do you think maybe one of those dolphins off the coast of japan stole her acting abilities?

12:00 - how did the Rebel know that was where hrg was going? He must be an inside rebel!
LB Note: Hiro is omnipresent...

13:00 - so, i was typing, and cb was reading my typing, and hiro was babbling, and then we realized wed miss like 6 lines of dialogue and had to rewind. lets see if we really had to rewind...

14:00 - well, guess i needed to knowthey were in india. also, i definitely did not want to miss that awesome "when destiny calls" joke. that joke was so good, that i cant believe they didnt lay it all on the line with a "Stop the wedding, save the world" promo this week...
CB Note: I'm kind of over all the same lines over and over every season. "It's my destiny" "I must answer" "I don't need powers to be a hero"

15:00 - ive also thrown in a "the wedding is already over" nut.

16:00 - great dialogue with ando and wedding girl. cb wonders if this is mohinder's sister. i think we mentioned that last week, but i cant remember.
CB Note: I was searching for a LOST sized twist that would actually make the show more interesting.

17:00 - this girl is the DUMBEST. she asked the heavens for a sign as to whether she should get married... and then a japanese guy randomly walks into an empty banquet hall...
LB Note: Doesn't Ando's "power"look like Rayden from Mortal Combat...?

18:00 - hellooooooooooooo abby collins... an abby topless scene could really turn this show around i think...

19:00 - this nathan-abby scene is SO BAD. the writing, the dialogue, the acting, the plot, the political references, everything.

20:00 - sylar - after you kill luke, can you kill me too?

21:00 - wait,whats going on? i was too busy eating popcorn. sylar was sold for a six-pence?

22:00 - man, i totally thought abby would let ali out of the chair and then ali would go nuts. raisin!

27:00 - this indian girl-ando plot is so unbelievable. i mean, heroes with superpowers and genetic mutations are more believable than this plot...

28:00 - Deepak?! he won jeopardy twice last week! this guy is dangerous!!!

29:00 - how did ando get powers? why was he injected?
He injected himself cause he thought it was the only way for him to save Hiro when Hiro was trapped in the past without powers. Remember, we laughed at him thinking he could get any power he wanted. Then he supercharged Daph back in time to save Hiro.

30:00 - wait, this isnt the deepak from jeopardy...

31:00 - OHMYGOD HES GOT A POT AND HES NOT AFRAID TO USE IT!!!

32:00 - quick, GET A LOAF OF BREAD!!!

33:00 - what was that, a fight scene from The Bourne Supremacy?

34:00 - Hamlet thinks this show is terrible. "Three Oinks!!! OINK OINK OINK"

35:00 - i was tearing up at the end of that emotional sylar-luke scene...

36:00 - what, i was! honest!!!

37:00 - ok ok, i had my fingers crossed.
LB Note: Methinks there needs to be slightly more detail in these blogging notes Mr Nash...

38:00 - why wouldnt they just shoot sylar in the back of the head... why wait? also, once he flings the guy behind him, why would hte 2 dudes with SEMIAUTOMATIC WEAPONS shoot him 5 times in the chest... AND NOT IN THE HEAD!!!!
CB Note: They're obviously not trained very well in Hero Combat.

39:00 - im rooting for the government guys from now on, even tho they suck. i figure if they capture all the heroes, then the show will be over...

40:00 - oh man, hiro's gonna stop the wedding just like in the drawing! what a twist!!!

41:00 - also, it appears she is not in fact mohinder's sister.

42:00 - but, she did just call this guy "grandfather"...

43:00 - how on earth was hiro allowed to just roll into this wedding?

44:00 - what baby? that could actually be an interesting twist...

45:00 - that hiro butter-knife and "woohoo im a hero" yell scene was terrible...
CB Note: This guy is supposed to be an extremely dangerous and evil man. You're telling me he was frightened off by Hiro and a butter knife?? So plausible....
LB Note: I had the same reaction! I was like ummm, can't he get is private militia in or something. I just hope for the sake of plausibility that he comes back and tries to get revenge or something. A butter knife...so ridic!

46:00 - oooh, good one liner claire... nobody can control you. youre kim bauer!

47:00 - umm, it was ali larter season 1 that had super strength ability... sigh.

48:00 - bummer for that dead iced guy that the FIVE GUYS WITH STUN GUNS decided to not shoot the OMG ITS A SUPER DANGEROUS KILLING MACHINE HERO until AFTER she iced him. is there nobody in the writers' room with the balls to stand upand say "are you kidding me?" when they come up with these awful scenes?

49:00 - of course, they could impress me if they now reveal it was all a set up for abby and ali was allowed to escape and ice that guy in front of her. i dont think they are that smart tho.

50:00 - after a bad claire scene, it turns out that it WAS a set up! of course, since ali the idiot apparently knew that, she coulda just NOT iced that guy, in order to screw nathan, and get the funding stopped, and subsequently get freed... so....
LB Note: I was literally yelling at my TV. Why the fuck wouldn't she just not ice the guy. And then she says something like "next time I will escape." What!?! She could have just walked up and been like, they're crazy, I dont' have powers, get me out of here and walked out!

51:00 - sylar saved luke! what the F changed in the last 15minutes to make sylar save him and take him with instead of finding him annoying and leaving him behind? what, nothing changed? so there's no explanation? surprise!!!
LB Note: Sylar realizes that Luke is his half brother and that he enjoys his company. Sylar realizes he shouldn't be bad and that he can control the hunger. Sylar backtracks and kills Luke on the beach...oh wait, we've seen this plot before.


52:00 - cb and i both picked Quebec in their 4pm Curling match versus Alberta in espn's Streak for the Cash today.

53:00 - The Rebel sent a fax to hiro and ando in india!! a) guess it wasnt hiro. b) guess it isnt West, this is a little too high tech for him. c) it appears that it has to be somebody on the inside, and with a "see the future power" bc he sent that fax before they were in india. do you think that 1) its a hero we already know or 2) a new hero and therefore un-nuttable?
CB Note: I can't imagine it could be anyone we already know and have it be believable. Angela Petrelli? But why?
LB Note: What if it's Hiro in the future...? I believe future Hiro has contacted present Hiro before...

54:00 - i actually chuckled when sylar turned on the radio.

55:00 - cb wants to know how he had blood - he was frozen. i want to know how long it takes to clean up some spilled blood - apparently all day and night!

56:00 - so,who's taking out hrg?

57:00 - it was parkman peter and mohinder!
